First, let me take a minute to thank EVERYONE that was involved, in any way, in making the Second Annual Kristy Mae Edwards Memorial Softball Tournament a HUGE success last weekend.  We are so proud to have been a part of it!!  The Edwards are very special to our staff and it was a special weekend!

It’s going to be a big week this week at Dick & Jane’s!  Tonight is Trivia Night!  The competition remains fierce!  We want to thank the Badass Brunettes who graciously donated two weeks of their winnings to the Kristy Edwards memorial Fund last week.  And we’re looking forward to seeing what happens tonight!  It’s NOT too late to play, so feel free to jump in at any time!

This weekend is the Mebane Dogwood Festival!  We are so excited to be a part of it!  We will be open regular hours on Friday, and opening at 11:00 am on Saturday for lunch and will remain open thru Saturday night.  We’ll also have booth set up outside with apparel available for purchase and a Dick & Jane’s apparel giveaway!  We’ll have new brochures to give out that include our menu and events.

Specials this week are:

Chicken Sata, Crab Stuffed Mushrooms, Cheeseburgers and Grown Up Grilled Chesse.

Desserts are:

Cheesecake Peanut Butter Fudge Marble Cake and Orange Pound Cake.

Next weekend is our first parking lot party for the summer featuring the Crossover Blues Band. (http://www.crossoverbluesband.com/)  If you haven’t seen them before, they’ll be playing at the Dogwood Festival this weekend so that’ll be a great preview for the show next weekend.  They will be playing from 8:00-11:00pm in the parking lot, Saturday, May 1!  Bring your pop up chairs!  We will be able to serve food and drink out there as well.  Cover for the band will be $5.00.  Spread the word!
